Our Services
Three services, one careful approach
Each service is built around clear written preparation, structured conversation, and a documented outcome shared equally with every participant.
Back to HomeOur Methodology
How we work across all three services
Regardless of which service a family chooses, the methodology is consistent: every matter begins with written preparation, proceeds through structured conversation, and closes with a written record distributed equally to all participants.
This approach is deliberate. Written preparation reduces the likelihood that a session will be derailed by misunderstandings about what was agreed to be discussed. Structured conversation ensures each person has adequate time to speak and to listen. A written record prevents disputes about what was said from emerging later.
Decisions about the substance of any matter remain entirely with the family at every point. Our role is to hold the structure, not to direct the outcome.
Initial enquiry
We discuss the matter briefly, explain what the relevant service involves, and answer questions before any commitment is made.
Written agenda preparation
A written agenda is prepared and shared with all participants before any session takes place.
Structured session
The session follows the agenda. Each participant has time to speak. The mediator holds the structure.
Written outcome
A note or document is prepared and shared with all participants in identical form within two working days.
Service 01
Family Mediation Session
A single structured mediation session, held in chambers or remotely, for two or more family members who would like to talk through a difficult question with a calm written outcome.
The session begins with a clear written agenda agreed in advance, followed by the conversation itself, and closes with a short written note recording the points discussed and any preliminary understandings reached. The note is shared with each participant afterwards so it can be read calmly at home, with any further session arranged later if the family considers it useful.
- Written agenda prepared and agreed in advance
- In-chambers or remote session option
- Written outcome note shared within two working days
- Further sessions can be arranged separately
- Suitable for two or more family members
Service 02
Sibling Caregiver Coordination
A coordinated service for adult siblings who share responsibility for caring for an older parent and would like the arrangements written down clearly.
The work covers a series of calm conversations with each sibling, a written summary of what each is currently doing, and the drafting of a shared care arrangement covering finances, time, and decision-making. Each draft is shared with all siblings for review before being finalised. The aim is to support a long-term family arrangement that can be revisited and adjusted as circumstances change.
- Separate conversations with each sibling
- Written summary of current arrangements
- Shared care document covering finances, time, decisions
- Draft reviewed by all siblings before finalisation
- Document revisable as circumstances change
Service 03
Multi-Party Family Settlement
A comprehensive service for families with several connected matters that would benefit from being settled together — for example, household property, ongoing financial arrangements, and the role of older relatives within the household.
The work covers preparation of a structured family document, coordination of conversations between all the family members concerned, drafting of an integrated settlement, and a final written summary that each family member receives in identical form. Decisions about substance remain firmly with the family at every step.
- Structured family document prepared
- All family members coordinated
- Integrated settlement covering connected matters
- Identical written summary to every family member
- Decisions remain with the family throughout
